APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an empirically validated, evidence-based practice based on the science of human behavior.

Behavior analysts utilize the principles of ABA to teach a variety of skills and reduce maladaptive behavior, instead teaching socially significant replacement behaviors. These methods help children access greater opportunities to learn, thrive, and develop meaningful social connections that will lead to independence.

According to the National institute of Health, “ABA is widely considered to be the gold-standard, evidence-based intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder that can improve functional status, behavior, and communication.”
